New Orc Guide
Once you have been inducted into the ranks of Bloodclan you will have some tasks to complete as part of your Pug rank duties. All new members start off at the rank of Pug which is a probationary rank. The only things that will be expected of you at this point is to learn the language and receive training in orcish tactics. Once you have done this you will be promoted to the rank of Gruntee and be an experienced member of the clan.
Training
In order to be promoted you will need to complete four basic training courses which are part of the Branding system and can be read in full here. The four brands you will need are Crosshealing, Krimping, Discipline, and Fort Defense.
To get the required training you can attend any training day events listed in the weekly schedule or impromptu events listed in the discord #event channel. You can also connect with any Grunt and request training at a time that will work for you. Feel free to pester them as their duty is to help you!
To train your language skills the best method is to just get in game and start conversing with your orc brethren and listen to the older orcs speak. Study the language page to understand the basics. Practicing in game will give you the immersion and experience required to grasp the language quickly! If you are chastised for your poor language skills do not worry as a Pug is expected to be an unpolished orc prone to mistakes.
For any other questions or nuances involved in playing your orc feel free to ask any question on the forums or discord. The wiki has a lot of important and helpful information regarding rules and guides. Most importantly have fun! Be serious when required and engage in some orcish humor from time to time.
