When in orc lands all orcs are required to demand tribute before engaging in player versus player combat. If the trespasser is a known griefer or fork then you may engage freely without asking for tribute.
Tribute is a way for intruders in orc lands to pay for their lives, show respect and honor to the clan. If the enemy player pays a decent tribute, they are allowed to LEAVE, but not STAY and hang around the fort. After they have paid up, they should be herded away. If the enemy player stays for more than a minute or so, they are allowed to be attacked after they have been giving some form of warning that the “tribute” only allows them to pass through our lands alive, not stay in our lands.
Tribute is not always about what treasures an orc may receive but a way to show deference to the clan. A rich tamer in full gear giving only an empty potion bottle may be taken as an insult but a warrior with poor gear handing over his boots can be seen as quite respectful.
Whether or not a player has paid decent tribute is up to the individual orc demanding it. As a guideline these are all considered good tribute:
Only orcs and allies are allowed in the Fort. Any uninvited players or trespassers in the fort are to be killed on sight. Riding mounts is not allowed in the fort and any violators will be killed along with their mount.
During raids outside orc territory asking for tribute is not required. Orcs will be out for blood and offering tribute may not be a guarantee of safety. Use caution when approaching a raiding party for offerings of tribute or engaging in roleplay.
Bloodclan is a RP/PK guild however we are NOT griefers. Orcs should avoid slaying new players and resurrect any fallen foes. If the fallen enemies fought well and respected the clan then they should be allowed to loot their body and given recall reagents. If they are known griefers then do not resurrect them. Any resurrected foes should loot their belongings and leave the area; getting in the way and refusing to leave will earn a res kill.
When encountering roleplayers orcs must engage in roleplay first before attacking. If the roleplayer is not looking for a fight always give them a way out of the situation. As a roleplay guild any interaction with other roleplayers should be rewarding and fufilling for both parties. Familiarize yourself with the diplomacy page to recognize established RoE with other guilds.
If your roleplay guild wants to establish relations and RoE with Bloodclan please forward your request to a current Branch Leader or Warcouncil member. You can find them on our forums or discord.
